I love digging into a warm slice of homemade banana bread. The kind that’s airy and light, sweet but not too sweet, and undertones of cinnamon shine through.
It’s the weekend! Well, almost. I’m in California for the next few days, celebrating my sister’s graduation from grad school and a high school friend’s wedding.
Refreshing, filling, and delicious, this smoothie bowl has been my go-to breakfast ever since Colorado decided to bless us with 80 degrees and sunshine.
It’s officially springtime in the Rockies — hallelujah. The change of seasons has me craving colorful, nutrient-dense salads, fresh berries, ice cream, and all the sunshine.

My relationship with exercise has changed a lot over the course of my life. I went from an intuitive exerciser, to a rigid (read: daily) exerciser, back to an intuitive exerciser. This journey has taken me a long, long time — and, I know it’s far from over.
And just like that, it’s March. Practically MID-MARCH! Time is flying. And appropriately, I hit the ground running at the beginning of the month. If we were chatting over a cup of coffee, I’d have a few updates for you.
